The story of fortythreewinks began in 2012.

It was September and I was 39 when I bought my first sewing machine.

My intent was to make pillow covers and curtains for my home however, after being introduced to the art of quilt making, I quickly fell in love and, before long, found myself stitching quilt after quilt—mostly for the tiniest people in my life.

With each stitch, I began to dream of a time when I could spend my days creating cozy quilts and bedding for little ones—the most precious among us. My dream even had a name: fortythreewinks.

After many small, meaningful steps, fortythreewinks began to unfold in real life. In 2024, our first 3 collections were released, each used to create fabric and other products designed with children in mind. Our goal is that each of our designs will be trusted by parents and used to foster rest in the life of their littles, whether they are busy at play or deep in sleep.

Looking ahead, my hope is that fortythreewinks will continue to grow—bringing warmth and comfort to children’s spaces and that our mission of “helping littles find rest while chasing their dreams” will further come to life… in our home and yours.
